Culture

Thumb
Currently, Ungheni is an important cultural and economic centre with a high qualified human potential.
Local culture is mostly folk oriented land being based on folk music, dance and traditions associated with rural lifestyles. Fostering and preserving it and increasing its appeal to the urban population, is a responsibility of the local office of the Ministry of Culture. With limited resources, it is fully stretched to preserve even the physical condition and fabric of cultural resources leaving little to cultivate living traditions and customs.
